Stephen Davis of Cumming, Georgia, is author of five books related to the Atlanta Campaign, as well as a two-volume study of John B. Hood’s generalship (Mercer University Press, 2019, 2020). With Bill Hendrick he has written The Atlanta Daily Intelligencer Covers the Civil War (Mercer, 2022). Steve is also author of “I Thank the Lord I Am Not a Yankee”: Eliza Francis Andrews’ Wartime and Postwar Journals (Mercer, 2023). Soon to be published is Volume One of a counterfactual history, Confederate Triumph: How the South Won Its War for Independence, 1861-1863 (Shotwell Publishing, Columbia, SC).
